‘Superman’ Star Margot Kidder, Dead at 69

You may not recognize the name Margot Kidder but you’ll most definitely remember her most famous character.  The actress best known for playing the iconic Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in the “Superman” movies, passed away on Sunday in Montana, according to Yahoo News. 

DC Comics Twitter account paid tribute to the actress over twitter, thanking her for her role as Lois Lane.


Mark Hamill wrote, “On-screen she was magic. Off-screen she was one of the kindest, sweetest, most caring woman I’ve ever known. I’ll miss you Margo Kidder. Your legacy will live on forever.”



Her manager says the actress died peacefully in her sleep.
