Roger Waters had a very on-brand response to a big-money offer from Facebook.
Waters recently revealed that the tech giant offered him “a huge, huge amount of money” to use “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2” in a promo video for Instagram.
Waters’ response? “The answer is – f*** you! No f***ing way!”
Waters says Facebook wants “to take over everything” and called CEO Mark Zuckerberg “one of the most powerful idiots in the world”.
Is it ironic for a giant tech company like Facebook to use an anti-establishment song like “Another Brick in the Wall” in an ad?
