Rob Halford celebrated a huge milestone on Monday: 34 years of sobriety.
The Judas Priest frontman shared a photo of his Alcoholics Anonymous anniversary chip on social media, along with the caption, “Thank you for all the sober birthday love today maniacs you mean the world to me and a shout out to my brothers and sisters on the same journey One Day At A Time”.
Halford talked about drying out back in 2016, admitting to The Washington Times that without it, “Literally, I would be dead.”
Previously, Halford recalled reaching 30 years of sobriety, revealing, “It’s a trail of sobriety that I really know for a fact has helped me in my career and in my life as a musician and as a person. I’d like to feel that I’m better in both worlds in that respect.”
Have you gone clean and sober? What pushed you to that decision? What gives you strength in your journey?
