There’s good news for rock fans who can’t get enough KISS: Paul Stanley says the biopic “Shout It Out Loud” is “definitely happening.”

The film, which has been picked up by Netflix, will be helmed by “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” director Joachim Rønning, producers say.

Although a premiere date has not yet been set, Stanley promises it will be worth the wait. “The script was really good,” he says. “And we really waited until we felt comfortable. Look, you get once chance to do it, and I would rather not do it than do it half-assed or poorly.”

Has the rock biopic fad run its course? Will the KISS movie attract a lot of viewers?
