Nikki Sixx says he “happy” that he and his bandmates have postponed their tour with Def Leppard — not once, but twice.

In a post on Instagram, the Motley Crue bassist writes, “I’m so happy we decided to not tour during this pandemic — 100 percent. Not a hard decision to make when so many people’s lives are at risk. I miss it REALLY bad and can’t wait to hit the road in 2022.”

“The Stadium Tour” was originally scheduled to get underway last summer, but was pushed back to this year due to coronavirus concerns. This year’s dates were then postponed until 2022 for the same reason.

Is it a good idea to purchase tickets for any show right now?
