Dusty Hill might be gone, but he’s certainly not forgotten.

ZZ Top will pay special tribute to their longtime bassist on the upcoming album RAW, which will be dedicated “In righteous memory of Dusty Hill”.

Hill appears on RAW, which was recorded in 2019 at Gruene Hall in Texas in conjunction with the Netflix documentary That Little Ol’ Band From Texas.

Hill died in July of last year at the age of 72.  Former guitar tech Elwood Francis has taken over bass duties on tour.

What’s the definitive ZZ Top album?
