Michelob Ultra Commits $100 Million To Women’s Sports

Michelob Ultra is brewing up a big investment in women’s sports.

The beer brand announced Thursday it is committing $100 million dollars over the next five years to increase visibility for women’s sports and female athletes.

Michelob Ultra’s Marketing vice president said, “Coming off the [Olympic] Games where women did exceptionally well and brought home more medals than men, we believe it’s the right time to keep people watching women’s sports.”

Former WNBA No. 1 draft pick Nneka Ogwumike of the Los Angeles Sparks will be one of the leading faces of Michelob Ultra’s “Save It, See It”¬†campaign.
