Elderly Men Escape a Retirement Home To Attend Heavy Metal Music Festival

These men are our spirit animals.  2 men from a Berlin retirement home bought tickets to one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world.

Wacken Open Air, an annual three-day celebration of the world of heavy metal music, bills itself as the world’s largest festival of its kind, with 75,000 tickets sold this year. The 29th edition of the festival was fully sold-out and bands including British group Judas Priest, Danzig and Nightwish took to the stage in front of the crowd.

The 2 elderly men had every intention of going. That is…until they were discovered missing from their nursing home, and police were sent to find them. Reluctantly, they returned back to the retirement home
