Alex Lifeson is still figuring out his post-Rush music career – but whatever comes next, he plans to stay at home.

Lifeson says he’s done with touring in the latest issue of Guitar Player: “To be honest with you, I don’t think I have it in me to go on the road… after 40 years of sitting in hotel rooms, I’m not interested.

Lifeson says he’s open to playing live shows, but not as part of a “whole production”.

He’s currently wrapping up an album with his new project, Envy Of None.

Do you think it’s hard for musicians to keep touring year after year, even if they’re still raking in money?
